Die Grillen are born
Die Grillen are a Berlin-based electronic duo. They blend electroclash, italo-disco, and wave into a hardware-driven live experience.
Their sound is built on pulsing synths, 303 basslines, and cold drum machines. Moreover, the lyrics are dry and deadpan — moving between irony and sincerity.
Their live set is hardware-only. As a result, every performance feels direct, physical, and unique.
Over the past year, Die Grillen have played across Berlin and Europe. They have appeared in venues like Kater Blau, Sameheads, Klunkerkranich and Madame Claude. And played at festivals such as Horstfest and Fusion Festival 2026.
Their latest single “Pleasure” came out in two versions. Both explore the same tension from opposite angles. Furthermore, the track has a modern dancefloor edge and a multilingual hook.
Die Grillen exist somewhere between the dancefloor and the uncanny. They are available for bookings across Europe.
